About David Sheinkopf
As a producer, interior designer, and contractor, David has earned a reputation for being one of the sharpest tools in the shed. After moving to Los Angeles and acting for nearly two decades, he felt that he needed something more. He found that designing and building things filled the void in his life, so he started constructing sets for commercials and music videos, which led to art direction and set design. Loving the work of making things out of nothing with his hands, David started his own company building high-end custom pieces for celebrity clientele. He prides himself on his contracting work, which ranges from designing and building sets to general construction work for residential and commercial. He starred in over 100 episodes of HGTV's
Design on a Dime, where he helped everyday people on a budget find designs that they loved. He has also worked on
The Greg Behrendt Show and hosted on Lowe's
Creative Ideas Magazine. Ridgid Tools, Greenworks, Thryve, and Toolin Around added to his alliance arsenal. Then he branched off into writing and executive producing for television, starting with
I Met My Murderer Online for CBS syndication, which he also narrates as well. The television show
Scene of the Crime which he also produces and narrates is currently in production. His
Village Idiot : A Manhattan Memoir was recently released and is currently being developed for the big screen.
